SES New York 2009 – Search Engine Strategies

The Evolution of Social Networks

SES New York 2009 is quickly coming and the theme this year is The Evolution of Social Networks.

While social networking has taken the world by storm overt the past 24 months, I believe that there is still plenty to be learned and harnessed especially as it relates to  B2B Marketing. Often times in-house marketing professionals and management alike have preconceived ideas that I believe aren’t in tune with the potential (brand, brand awareness, lead gen, revenue) social networks can provide.

While attending this event last year, I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of quality content that was provided including Live in-your-face landing page and SEO workshops.

If anyone has the chance to catch Mike Grehan, Matt Baily or Greg Jarboe, I would highly recommend it; very insightful group and as I understand, will be back this year.

What do you think? Have you attended SES before? How would you compare SES with SMX and/or other events?
